The road to Hell is paved with good intentions.
I had intended to go on a difficult hike today in the Olympics, but the weather was cool and cloudy, and I just didn’t feel like looking out from another summit into fog. (Kili, take note: Ye shall have a completely clear view with spectacular weather each day of our hike! Or else I will demand that you refund my blood, sweat, tears, and stolen oxygen.) I did, however, go on a nice long hike yesterday at the Gazzam Lake Nature Preserve and a bike ride today. Post to follow on Gazzam Lake tomorrow.
I got to use my Cycliq Fly6 rear flasher/camera today, which takes a lovely high-def video of anyone who might not be driving so nicely. It also allows me to make goofy videos of my bike rides as viewed from my posterior’s perspective. As you will see, there was absolutely no problem with nasty drivers today. Thank you!
So you’re probably wondering: What’s the deal with the title of this post? Watch the short video below, and you shall see! Hint: My favorite musical group is featured, and there is a brief Badger lip sync where I channel my inner James Hetfield. 🙂
Onward and UPWARD,
-Badger
