You haven’t heard from the Honey Badger in awhile. Rest assured that I’m alive and kicking.
I’m still reeling from my Mom’s death in March. The pain is raw and searing. I miss her so badly. I wear her Rosary often to keep her close to my heart.
It’s the rainy season in Arusha. Geez, when it rains, it RAINS!!! We’re talking instant gully-washers, folks. But this isn’t Seattle. The rain comes with a vengeance, and then it disappears, replaced by jua kali (strong sun). I really like it. And much to the Badger’s delight, the overall temperatures are much cooler. I actually use a blanket when I sleep at night now. Speaking of night, please enjoy the picture of a beautiful crescent moon over Arusha last night.
I have a lot on my mind, and I will be back soon with — who knows? Life is a roller coaster: sometimes it’s exhilarating; sometimes it makes you puke. I just hang on tight and wait for the next surprise. I expect to have something fun, ridiculous, sad, enlightening, blah blah blah, in the near future. Until then,
Badger OUT.
Looking forward to whatever it is the Badger is going to share next!
