-you say Merry Christmas, but I’m not Christian.
-you say Happy Hanukkah, but I’m not Jewish.
-you say Happy Ramadan, but I’m not a Muslim.
-you say Happy Festivus, but I’m not Costanzian.
-you say Happy Holidays, and I’m one of the above.
-And so on.
Instead, I’ll return the greeting in kind, and I’ll be thankful that you greeted me and wished me happiness.
